![]() ![]() Is this a bug in version 2.3.1? I really would like to be able to achieve what I want to happen WITHOUT, as much as possible, messing with pfSense's backend. I've scoured the forum, and I wasn't able to get any fix or explanation for this. Which makes me think that and aren't being implemented by pfSense. BUT when he/she clicks the 'I Agree' button I provided, he/she is once again able to access the internet. The guest user's session does indeed end after an hour, forcing him/her back to the captive portal. I figured I had to set to 1 so that the user would really have to wait for one hour to pass through the captive portal again. Waiting period to restore pass-through credits (Hours): 1 When his/her one-hour session ends, he/she would have to wait for one hour before he/she could pass through the captive portal again (and in effect, once again access the internet).įor that to happen, I figured I had to set the following options in pfSense: ![]() The guest user can only access the internet for one hour at a time. This works perfectly fine the user is redirected to a new page and is able to web browse. ![]() The captive portal I made for guest users does not require authentication, and only just needs the user to click on an 'I Agree' button I've provided. ![]()
